G. Kishan Reddy, Union Minister, responded to the discussion about Maoists joining the Indian National Congress. He said that in a democratic country like India, anyone can join any political party as long as they follow the Constitution written by B. R. Ambedkar. He added that if Naxalites or Maoists return to the mainstream and work within the constitutional framework, governments will have no objection. He also stated that the nationwide anti Naxal initiative, Operation Kagar, is continuing across the country.
Kishan Reddy also criticized the Indian National Congress government in Telangana and questioned whether the party had fulfilled any of its election promises. Referring to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao, he alleged that both leaders are focused on building personal political brands rather than strengthening the Telangana brand. He further demanded clarity on financial issues, development projects such as the Bapu Ghat redevelopment and Musi River rejuvenation project, and alleged irregularities in real estate activities around Hyderabad.
