On this same day in 2009, the Telangana formation process began: Revanth Reddy

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy recalled that the historic process of forming Telangana began on this very day in 2009. He expressed happiness over the installation and unveiling of Telangana Talli statues at district collectorates, noting that the purpose was to remind everyone to begin their work with respect for Telangana Talli.

Revanth stated that the Congress government fulfilled the six-decade-long aspiration of the people of Telangana. He added that despite facing numerous obstacles, Sonia Gandhi courageously ensured the formation of the new state. The CM also said that the spirit and inspiration of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh continue to guide the schemes and governance of the Congress administration.
