

The Andhra Pradesh government continues its proactive stride in job creation and employment generation. After the successful completion of the mega DSC drive that helped over 16,000 individuals secure teaching positions, the state is gearing up for yet another recruitment phase.Minister Nara Lokesh held a review meeting yesterday with officials from the School Education, Intermediate, and College Education Boards to assess ongoing and upcoming recruitment plans.
During the meeting, Lokesh instructed officials to stay committed to the yearly recruitment promise through DSC, with the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) scheduled for the last week of November 2025. He further made an official announcement that the new DSC notification will be released in January 2026, and the recruitment process will conclude by March 2026.“Our goal is to ensure that all newly recruited teachers report to their respective schools by the start of the upcoming academic year,” Lokesh stated.With the previous mega DSC wrapped up just a month ago, this timely announcement shows the government’s consistency in creating employment opportunities and strengthening the education system. If successfully implemented, this initiative could set new benchmarks for timely recruitment and teacher workforce expansion in the state.
