The BJP has released a charge sheet against the Congress government in Telangana, marking what it described as 1,000 days of rule under the theme, “1,000 Days, 1,000 Irregularities, 1,000 Lies.” BJP MLAs Aleti Maheshwar Reddy and Payal Shankar, along with MLC Anjireddy, released the document. Aleti Maheshwar Reddy alleged that the Congress came to power with false promises and failed to implement several commitments, including farm loan waivers, Rythu Bharosa, support for agricultural labourers, fee reimbursement, monthly assistance for women and pension hikes.
The BJP also alleged that development and law and order had deteriorated, while universities continued to face staff shortages and inadequate infrastructure. Demanding an inquiry into the 22A land issue and allegations related to Bhu Bharati, the party announced a protest at Indira Park on September 5 and 6. The BJP further questioned the expenditure, environmental clearances and DPRs related to the Musi rejuvenation project and demanded answers on the implementation of PRC and the release of pending DA payments for government employees.
