Political developments in Tamil Nadu have taken a fresh twist as the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) strongly denied rumours regarding alliance negotiations, calling them fake and baseless. Chief Minister M. K. Stalin clarified that there would be no interference from DMK in a possible TVK-led government.
Meanwhile, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) also ruled out supporting TVK leader Vijay, while Left parties echoed similar opposition. However, with Congress backing, TVK’s strength has reportedly reached 112 MLAs, and efforts are underway to secure support from six more legislators, keeping suspense alive over government formation in the state.
