

N. Rangaswamy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Puducherry for the fifth time, creating history as the first leader to hold the top post on five separate occasions. The swearing-in ceremony took place at Raj Nivas, where Lieutenant Governor K. Kailasanathan administered the oath of office to Rangaswamy and the newly inducted ministers. The event witnessed the presence of political leaders, party workers, and senior officials.
Along with the Chief Minister, BJP MLA M. Namassivayam and All India N.R. Congress MLA Malladi Krishna Rao also took oath as ministers in the new cabinet. Rangaswamy’s return to power is being viewed as a significant political milestone in Puducherry’s history. Political observers believe his leadership and administrative experience played a crucial role in securing continued public support for the ruling alliance.
