Senior Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham has written a letter to TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and party general secretary Nara Lokesh, expressing serious concern over the prevailing situation in Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that the state is witnessing a deviation from democratic governance and criticized the humiliation of YSRCP leaders. Mudragada questioned whether the leadership was witnessing the ongoing political suppression and suggested that the situation warranted central intervention, even calling for the imposition of an Emergency if necessary.
In his letter, Mudragada accused the government of deliberately targeting the Kapu community and betraying assurances given on BC reservations. He stated that despite growing anger among Kapus, support was extended earlier only out of affection and respect for Pawan Kalyan. He warned that continued governance based on intimidation and broken promises would further erode public trust and intensify social unrest in the state.
