MP Raghunandan Rao Meets Governor

After meeting Governor Shiv Prasad Shukla at Lok Bhavan, MP Raghunandan Rao told the media that the foundation stone for an Amul chilling centre would be laid at Brahmanapalle in Toopran on October 4 by Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He said the facility would be one of the largest of its kind in South India and would be bigger than the Chittoor plant. He urged dairy farmers in the Medak region to make use of the opportunity. As part of a service initiative marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, a programme to plant 30,000 almond trees along National Highway 765 DG, from Ramayampet to Siddipet, is also planned for October 6 under the leadership of Governor Shiv Prasad Shukla. The plantation will cover both sides of the road over a stretch of 44 kilometres.

Raghunandan Rao also criticised the Congress government over its approach to development and religious institutions. He said all 119 Assembly constituencies should be treated equally and alleged that the government was focusing disproportionately on certain areas. He questioned why Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had not offered Thalambralu to Lord Rama at Bhadrachalam in his capacity as Chief Minister and asked why the Komuravelli Mallanna temple was not being developed. He said the Chief Minister should work for the development of all constituencies rather than focusing only on Kodangal. Referring to the political developments involving Sircilla, Raghunandan Rao challenged Revanth Reddy to arrest BRS working president KTR if he had the courage.
