Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an indirect remark targeting Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi while addressing the media ahead of the Parliament session. Highlighting the successful launch of the Vikram-1 rocket developed by Hyderabad-based private space startup, Modi praised the young scientists behind the mission, noting that their average age was just 28.
During his remarks, the Prime Minister said he was “not talking about a 56-year-old youngster,” a statement widely interpreted as a reference to Rahul Gandhi, who recently turned 56. The comment has sparked political debate, with many viewing it as a response to earlier exchanges between the BJP and Congress over the “56-inch chest” remark.
