Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been frequently visiting Andhra Pradesh in recent times, arrived in Puttaparthi today to take part in the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Upon landing at the Puttaparthi airport, he was warmly received by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan as part of the official protocol. Modi appeared to share a pleasant and cheerful conversation with both leaders before they proceeded towards the Sathya Sai Ashram to offer prayers.
Given the immense spiritual legacy of Sathya Sai Baba, the centenary celebrations are being organized on a grand scale, and the presence of the Prime Minister has added even more significance to the event.
Modi is scheduled to address a massive gathering shortly, and there is considerable anticipation surrounding his speech.
