Bharatiya Janata Party leaders say Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Telangana is expected to bring major political changes in the state. They believe political equations may shift significantly within the next two to three months. Party leaders stated that the public meeting in Telangana was strategically planned after the results of the five-state elections. The party is reportedly preparing a special action plan to repeat its success in Assam and West Bengal in Telangana.
Prime Minister Modi will attend a massive public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad on Sunday. During the visit, he will launch and inaugurate development projects worth nearly ₹8,000 crore. These include the Zaheerabad Integrated Industrial Smart City, national highway expansion works, a mega textile park, and a greenfield petro terminal. He will also dedicate the Kazipet–Vijayawada multi-track railway project to the nation. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is also expected to participate in the official programmes.
The Bharatiya Janata Party has intensified its campaign to make the Prime Minister’s visit successful. The city has been covered with wall posters, banners, and hoardings. Party leaders are mobilising thousands of supporters from every constituency to attend the meeting. Union Ministers Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay, along with senior leaders like Eatala Rajender, are conducting preparation meetings across the state. Party leaders estimate that nearly two lakh people may attend the gathering, while around 2,000 police personnel have been deployed for security and traffic management.
