Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh once again proved his commitment to people’s welfare. Known for personally responding to emergencies, Lokesh rushed to Kasibugga early Saturday morning after learning about a tragic stampede incident. The incident occurred at a private temple in Kasibugga, Srikakulam district, where thousands of devotees gathered for Karthika month special prayers. Overcrowding led to chaos, resulting in injuries and loss of life for some devotees. Without any delay, Lokesh left Hyderabad and visited the government hospital treating the victims. He inquired about their condition and directed doctors to provide the best medical care possible, regardless of cost. He also suggested shifting critical patients to private hospitals if needed. Lokesh spent nearly two hours with the victims, comforting families and assuring full government support. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, currently in London, has been closely monitoring the situation and directed officials to extend all possible help to the affected families. Lokesh’s swift action and on-ground response have drawn praise from many, with people calling it a gesture of genuine compassion and leadership.
