Minister Konda Surekha Has Been with the Party for Many Years: TPCC Chief Mahesh Goud

TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud said Minister Konda Surekha has been associated with the Congress party for several years. He stated that notices had already been issued over Susmitha’s remarks and that an explanation had also been sought from Minister Konda Surekha regarding the issue. Mahesh Kumar Goud stressed that party discipline would be given priority in internal matters.

Mahesh Kumar Goud said the Congress Working Committee (CWC) will take the final decision on whom the party will award tickets to. He also made it clear that the party would not tolerate statements made by leaders that go beyond the official party line. He stressed that every party leader is expected to abide by the party’s decisions and policies.
