

Top Maoist leaders, including Dev ji and Malla Raji reddy, have formally surrendered and expressed their willingness to transition from armed struggle to political engagement. The historic meeting took place at the Secretariat in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, DGP Shivdar Reddy, and other senior police officials. The leaders revealed their inner perspectives, and the Chief Minister assured them that issues within his jurisdiction would be addressed peacefully.
The leaders confirmed they would disband the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army (PLGA) and continue their movement legally within democratic frameworks, seeking government support to convert their party into a political entity. CM Revanth Reddy promised security and rehabilitation, assured implementation of health schemes, and stated that other demands would be studied and addressed through the Cabinet. He emphasized that violence cannot solve problems and encouraged pursuing public aspirations through democratic means.
