BRS leader Manne Krishank has accused the Congress government in Telangana of misusing provisions related to 22A prohibited lands to facilitate alleged land dealings and settlements. Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan, he levelled allegations against Anumula Krishna Reddy, the brother of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, over purported irregularities in land transactions. Krishank also referred to earlier allegations made by Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, who reportedly claimed that Krishna Reddy had asked his son to join the Congress party in order to secure constituency funds. These claims were raised by the BRS leader during his criticism of the state government.
Krishank also cited a land transaction involving survey number 363 in Chandanvelli village under the Chevella jurisdiction. He alleged that while other plots in the survey number remained classified as assigned lands, plot 363/3 had recently been registered after being converted into agricultural land. According to him, the property was registered in the name of Kota Srikanth Reddy, a representative of R9 Constructions, through Chevella Navaneetha. He further alleged that Krishna Reddy was the first partner and owner of R9 Constructions. Krishank demanded a comprehensive investigation into the transactions and questioned the BJP's silence over the allegations. The claims have not been independently verified in the information available for this report, and responses from the individuals concerned were not available.
