

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy stated that the government is implementing clear plans for cattle protection across the state. He highlighted that modern goshalas are being developed and plans are also in place to establish them near major temples. Animal rights activist and People for Animals president Maneka Gandhi, along with her team, met the Chief Minister at the Assembly meeting hall. Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao, and other senior officials were present.
Officials explained the measures taken for managing stray dogs and cattle protection in municipalities. A presentation was also given on sterilization programs and ongoing animal welfare initiatives.
Maneka Gandhi expressed satisfaction with the state government's efforts and appreciated its commitment towards animal welfare.
