Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief Mamata Banerjee is reportedly considering a return to Lok Sabha politics. Political circles suggest that the veteran leader may contest a parliamentary seat as the party looks to strengthen its presence and influence at the national level. The move is being viewed as a strategic step amid evolving political dynamics in West Bengal and beyond.
According to reports, Mamata Banerjee may contest from the Baharampur Lok Sabha constituency. The seat is currently represented by TMC MP Yusuf Pathan, and discussions are reportedly underway regarding a possible by-election scenario if required. Having served multiple terms as a Member of Parliament in the past, Mamata remains one of India's most prominent political leaders.
