K. Kavitha has faced a major political setback. In Vaddepalli municipality of Gadwal district, eight councillors who were elected on the All India Forward Bloc symbol with Telangana Jagruthi support are set to join the Congress party. Under the leadership of Vaddepalli Srinivas, they will soon join in the presence of Revanth Reddy.
The municipality has a total of 10 wards and since these eight councillors are shifting parties, Congress will gain clear control over Vaddepalli municipality and its flag is expected to be raised there.
