A training program for District Congress Committee (DCC) presidents from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has begun at the Ananthagiri Haritha Resort in Vikarabad district. PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud attended the event and addressed party leaders.
Mahesh Kumar Goud described the “Sanghatan Srujan Abhiyan” as a historic initiative. He said the program would help build strong and quality leadership and urged leaders to deeply understand and follow Congress ideology. Stressing the importance of training, he recalled how a 1970 training camp in Bapatla greatly helped the party. He added that the Congress party stands for sacrifice and commitment.
He also praised Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s leadership, stating that the party gained people’s trust and came to power. He said most of the six guarantees announced at the Tukkuguda meeting have been implemented. He highlighted the party’s success in local elections and emphasized strengthening the party from the booth level. He advised leaders to focus on social media outreach with care. Noting that the Sanghatan Srujan program has already succeeded in 14 states, he expressed confidence that Congress would return to power in Telangana.
