Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud stated that the party has successfully completed a comprehensive organizational strengthening exercise across the state. Speaking at a training programme, he said Telangana has emerged as one of the most organized Congress units in the country under the Sangathan Srujan Abhiyan initiative. According to him, Booth Level Agents (BLAs) have been appointed in more than 90 Assembly constituencies, while district and mandal-level committees have also been largely constituted.
Mahesh Kumar Goud emphasized the importance of protecting every vote and ensuring transparency in the electoral process. Referring to developments in West Bengal, he alleged that a large number of voter names had been removed from electoral rolls, which he claimed impacted the democratic process. He urged party workers to remain alert and implement the training effectively at the grassroots level to prevent any such issues in Telangana. He also accused the BJP of engaging in what he described as divisive political tactics and called on party cadres to remain vigilant.
