London seems to have become a preferred destination for Telugu politicians. YSR Congress Party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is known for his frequent visits to the British capital, having reportedly developed a special fondness for the city. Interestingly, he was in London just a couple of weeks ago.
Now, it’s Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s turn to visit London. The CM is currently on a personal trip, taking a short break from his official duties to spend quality time with his family.
However, true to his work-driven nature, Chandrababu has managed to blend professional commitments even into his private visit.
According to reports, the Chief Minister recently met Chris Fitzgerald, International Director of Octopus Energy, during his stay in London. In the meeting, Chandrababu invited the company to invest in Andhra Pradesh’s renewable energy sector. He also outlined the state’s potential in clean energy, smart grid systems, and data-driven energy management, particularly in Amaravati and Visakhapatnam.
What’s drawing public attention is the clear contrast between the two leaders’ London visits. While Jagan’s foreign trips often remain private, with little information about official engagements, Chandrababu continues to push Andhra Pradesh’s development agenda even while abroad.
At 75, Chandrababu Naidu’s dedication to work and his consistent efforts to attract investments stand out. As one political analyst remarked, “This is what distinguishes a statesman like Chandrababu from the rest.”
