

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced department-wise rankings during the Collectors’ Conference held recently. Officials stated that the rankings were assigned based on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and categorized under the ABCD grading system. The Forest and Environment Department secured the last position in the rankings, drawing political attention as it falls under Pawan Kalyan’s portfolio.
The BC Welfare Department secured the top rank with a perfect score of 100 points, while the Forest and Environment Department stood last with 67 points. Additionally, as many as 18 departments scored above 90 percent, showcasing strong performance. Officials noted that the ranking system provides a clear picture of departmental efficiency and governance standards.
