BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao launched a sharp attack on the Congress government in Telangana, stating that people are eagerly waiting for the next elections and will politically reject the ruling party. He alleged that the absence of BRS voices in Parliament is clearly being felt, especially when Telangana’s interests are questioned. KTR criticized both Congress and BJP MPs from Telangana for remaining silent when remarks allegedly insulting the formation of Telangana were made in Parliament.
Targeting Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, KTR questioned the government’s focus on building a “Future City” while failing to improve basic infrastructure in the existing city. He also stated that the Musi River rejuvenation project had already begun during the BRS regime, with several Sewage Treatment Plants established across multiple areas. Speaking about the upcoming GHMC elections, KTR said BRS would distribute tickets strictly based on survey reports and winnability factors.
