KTR Seeks Answers from Revanth Reddy Ahead of Sircilla Visit

Ahead of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s proposed visit to Sircilla, BRS working president and Sircilla MLA K.T. Rama Rao has raised a series of questions concerning the constituency’s development and the implementation of government promises. KTR demanded that the government release a white paper detailing the allegation that 8,000 acres of government land were transferred in Sircilla and provide details of the 2,400 acres it says were recovered. He also sought clarity on the issues faced by weavers, including pending dues, yarn subsidy, insurance and the proposed yarn depot and weaving park. These claims and demands are KTR’s statements; separate reports have also documented the broader dispute over the alleged 8,000-acre land issue.

KTR also raised issues concerning farmers, irrigation, employment, industries, education, healthcare, electricity and welfare schemes. He sought timelines for pending Rythu Bandhu payments, the ₹2 lakh farm-loan waiver, farmer insurance and irrigation works, besides demanding action on the Aqua Hub, Food Processing Zone, JNTU Engineering College and pending development bills. He further questioned the government over pension arrears, women’s welfare promises, fee reimbursement, support for auto drivers and other commitments. KTR said the Chief Minister should use the Sircilla visit to give clear answers on these issues rather than limiting the programme to political criticism.
