KTR Questions Revanth Government Over Land Issues.. Why Target Farmers’ Lands?

BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao has criticised the Telangana government over allegations surrounding land acquisition and the treatment of farmers. In his remarks, KTR questioned why photographs of political leaders were being displayed at police stations and alleged that the Congress government had failed to fulfil its election promises. He also accused the government of targeting lands belonging to families that had been cultivating them for generations. KTR further questioned the government’s approach to land linked to infrastructure and development projects and raised allegations involving Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and other Congress leaders. He urged affected people to continue their legal battle and said the issue could be taken to the Supreme Court if required. The remarks come amid ongoing disputes and government inquiries concerning land records and alleged irregularities involving properties linked to BRS leaders and others. The Telangana government has separately constituted committees to examine several land-related matters.
