BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in a post on X, accusing the Congress government of failing to address the state's water crisis. Referring to the hardships faced by farmers, KTR alleged that the government was neglecting irrigation needs while making provocative political remarks. He urged the administration to prioritise water supply to agricultural fields and provide relief to affected farmers.
In his post, KTR also made a series of sharp political allegations against the Congress, referring to historical incidents and accusing the party of violence during different phases of Telangana's history. He asserted that those who had fought for Telangana and its farmers would continue to stand by them and called on the government to focus on resolving the water shortage instead of political confrontation. The remarks have triggered fresh political debate in the state.
