Konda Surekha Slams BJP Leaders

Minister Konda Surekha alleged that BJP leaders had distorted her remarks. She said she had only questioned whether merely saying “Jai Shri Ram” would bring development schemes and accused BJP leaders of spreading false propaganda. She clarified that they too are Hindus and everyone worships Lord Ram with devotion.

Surekha challenged BJP leaders to bring Rs.200 crore funds for the Bhadrachalam temple if they truly love Lord Ram. She remarked that no one writes their religion on their forehead or walks around wearing boards around their neck. The minister warned that she would not tolerate false propaganda.
