

Telangana Minister and senior Congress leader Konda Surekha has issued a public apology to actor Akkineni Nagarjuna and his family, expressing regret for her earlier comments that sparked controversy. She emphasized that her statements were never intended to hurt or defame the actor or his family in any way.
Taking to social media, Surekha shared a heartfelt clarification, saying, “My statement regarding @iamnagarjuna Garu was not meant to offend or disrespect him or his family. I deeply regret if my words created a wrong impression, and I withdraw them unconditionally.”
Meanwhile, Nagarjuna, who had earlier filed a defamation case against Konda Surekha, has yet to respond to her apology. The situation remains closely watched by both political and film circles, as fans await the actor’s next move following the minister’s public statement.
