The Union Minister Kishan Reddy stated that Telangana has been pushed into heavy debts during the ten-year rule of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). He made these remarks at the massive protest organised by the BJP at Dharna Chowk, Indira Park.
Under the banner of “Two Years of Congress Betrayal,” the BJP released a charge-sheet listing the unfulfilled promises of the state government.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy said that people had already experienced autocratic and family rule during KCR’s regime and were frustrated. Hence, they believed the false promises of Congress and voted for them.
Apart from free bus travel and subsidised rice, none of the promises made by Congress have been implemented, he alleged.
“Though the pink flag was replaced by the hand symbol, the exploitation hasn’t stopped. No major improvement is visible in any section. Ten BRS MLAs have joined Congress. Even after completing two years in power, why hasn’t the Congress government filled two lakh posts? If lands are not sold, they are unable to implement welfare schemes. Both Congress and BRS are family-run parties and are encouraging corruption,” Kishan Reddy criticised.
