Union Minister for Coal and Mines G. Kishan Reddy alleged that the present Congress government, like the previous BRS regime, is exploiting Singareni Collieries Company Limited and neglecting its financial stability. He assured that the BJP has taken responsibility to revive the struggling organization and promised good news for workers soon. Speaking during the “Singareni Bharosa Yatra” across Mancherial, Peddapalli, and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts, BJP leaders addressed public meetings and worker gatherings, highlighting pending dues and financial distress affecting employee salaries.
Kishan Reddy stated that despite coal usage by both state governments, dues owed to Singareni remain unpaid, forcing the company to depend on bank loans for wage payments. He criticized past leadership for failing to act on key coal block allocations and accused both BRS and Congress governments of corruption, commissions, and irregularities. He emphasized that Singareni is a symbol of Telangana’s pride and called upon workers to unite beyond political lines to protect it. BJP leaders also alleged large-scale financial mismanagement and demanded immediate release of pending funds to safeguard the company’s future.
