Key Development in Cash-for-Vote Case.. Hearing Deferred

The hearing in the Cash-for-Vote case has been adjourned for 10 days by the CJI-led bench. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had filed a petition seeking to have the case examined under the election code. Meanwhile, Sandra Venkata Veeraiah also filed a petition seeking the removal of his name from the case. Revanth Reddy’s counsel, Siddharth Luthra, had already completed his arguments on the petitions.

Arguments on behalf of the BRS, which is among the respondents, were scheduled to continue. However, the CJI-led bench declined to hear the arguments today and announced that the matter would be taken up after 10 days.
