A political war of words has erupted after Pinarayi Vijayan strongly responded to criticism from Revanth Reddy. Vijayan reacted sharply to allegations of corruption made by the Telangana Chief Minister, calling such remarks unfair and baseless. He questioned how someone accused of harsh actions against the poor could speak about social progress.
In his statement, Vijayan said that Kerala is one of the states with the lowest levels of corruption and poverty in the country. He also highlighted that the state leads in literacy rates and has strong welfare systems. He further criticized delays in salaries and pensions in Telangana, suggesting that others should learn governance and welfare practices from Kerala instead of making accusations.
