Arvind Kejriwal has urged the Central Government to make E10, E20, and E0 petrol available at every fuel station across the country. He said vehicle owners should be given the freedom to choose the fuel that best suits their vehicles instead of relying on a single fuel option.
Kejriwal claimed that nearly 22 crore motorcycles and 8 crore cars in India are not fully compatible with E20 fuel. He warned that making E20 mandatory could eventually render many of these vehicles obsolete, forcing them into the scrap cycle. He appealed for the continued availability of all three fuel variants to protect consumers and existing vehicle owners.
