The Economic Survey 2025–26 has once again highlighted the development achieved in Telangana during the BRS government’s tenure, BRS working president KTR said in a tweet. He remarked that on the very day Chief Minister Revanth Reddy attempted political diversion by issuing notices to KCR in an alleged case, the Economic Survey showcased the remarkable progress made under KCR’s decade-long rule. Just as sunlight cannot be blocked with one’s palm, KTR said, no amount of conspiracy can hide the development achieved during KCR’s governance.
KTR noted that reputed institutions like the RBI and NITI Aayog, along with international publications such as The Economist, have already praised KCR’s administration, and the latest Economic Survey released by the Union government has now joined that list. The survey credited flagship projects like the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and Mission Kakatiya for triggering an agricultural transformation in the state. It highlighted that the cultivated area increased from 1.31 crore acres in 2014 to 2.2 crore acres by 2023, with new irrigation facilities extended to 89 lakh acres within nine years under the KCR government.
