Kavitha Welcomes Approval of ‘Telangana Rakshana Sena’ Name!

K. Kavitha expressed happiness after the approval of the party name ‘Telangana Rakshana Sena’ by the Election Commission of India. She stated that five name options were submitted in January as per EC guidelines, and the third preference was approved. Kavitha remarked that “TRS” seems destined for her, adding that she will continue her efforts towards preserving and reviving Telangana’s cultural identity with renewed commitment.

The EC recently granted approval to her newly announced political party, replacing the initially proposed ‘Telangana Rashtra Sena’ with ‘Telangana Rakshana Sena’. Officials handed over the approval letter at her residence in Banjara Hills. The Commission has advised issuing a public notice in newspapers and invited objections, if any, within 30 days regarding the party’s name.
