The Jubilee Hills by-election delivered a massive blow to the BRS, as Congress candidate Naveen Kumar Yadav won the seat with an unprecedented majority of nearly 25,000 votes— the highest margin ever in the constituency’s history. This loss has shaken the BRS, which once held a strong grip over Hyderabad’s urban politics. Reacting to the result, former BRS leader Kavitha took a direct swipe at the party by posting “Karma hits back” on X.
Her comment is widely seen as an attack on the BRS leadership, especially KTR, and has intensified the ongoing internal friction within the party. The message quickly went viral and fueled political chatter, as many interpreted it as Kavitha’s way of distancing herself while exposing deeper troubles inside BRS.
