K. Kavitha is set to begin her political campaign from Palamuru after launching the Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS). Emphasizing the issue of injustice in Krishna river water sharing, she aims to raise her voice for Telangana’s rightful share. As part of her plans, Kavitha will visit the Jogulamba temple and seek blessings before addressing a major public meeting on the 8th.
The public meeting titled “Palamuru–Ranga Reddy Project Sadhana Sabha” will be held near the KP Lakshmidevipalli reservoir at Chowdari Gudem. Kavitha is expected to outline her movement strategy to secure water rights and accelerate pending works related to the project. The initiative highlights her focus on irrigation and regional development as key priorities.
Earlier, she had expressed strong concern over delays in the Palamuru–Ranga Reddy project, noting that several works remain incomplete even after 11 years since its foundation. Leaders of the Telangana Rakshana Sena unveiled the event poster in Hyderabad, signaling the beginning of a renewed movement to push for project completion and ensure water for drought-prone regions.
