Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) chief Kavitha has alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is indirectly supporting Andhra Pradesh over the Polavaram-Banakacherla link project. She expressed concern that the Supreme Court refused to issue even notices to the Andhra Pradesh government, citing shortcomings in Telangana’s petition filed against the project.
In a post on ‘X’ on Monday, Kavitha stated that the people of Telangana would not forgive what she called a betrayal of the state’s interests. She accused Revanth Reddy of handing over Godavari waters to Andhra Pradesh as a gesture towards Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. She claimed that the state government’s petition itself reflected the level of support being extended to Andhra Pradesh on the Banakacherla issue.
