Leaders from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, including MLAs and MLCs, met the Director General of Police to raise concerns over the deteriorating law and order situation in Telangana. The delegation lodged a formal complaint following alleged attacks by BJP workers on former minister Gangula Kamalakar’s camp office and on the vehicle of MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy in Karimnagar. They urged the police to take strict action to prevent further attacks on BRS leaders and to ensure peace and security across the state.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Padi Kaushik Reddy alleged that there was a deliberate attempt on his life, claiming it was orchestrated as part of a planned conspiracy. He criticized the government for failing to maintain law and order, stating that no review meetings or prompt actions were taken even after incidents near sensitive locations. He further alleged a covert understanding between Revanth Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar, claiming that attacks were being carried out because he was questioning unfulfilled promises. He warned that continued provocation could lead to retaliatory actions in the future.
