CPI National Secretary K. Narayana has criticised the Telangana Congress government, alleging that internal differences among Congress leaders are creating serious problems within the party. He said the ongoing infighting could help the BRS regain strength in the state. Narayana also remarked that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy needs to act firmly and remain above reproach to maintain control over ministers and lower level officials.
Narayana further alleged that some people are misusing the rules governing 22A lands. He clarified that the CPI is not a partner in the Telangana government and that the party only entered into a seat-sharing arrangement with Congress during the elections. He also alleged that the Congress government has been ignoring the CPI’s suggestions and recommendations.
