Jantar Mantar is the property of the people: Rahul Gandhi

Opposition India Alliance leaders were outraged over the arrest of CJP leaders for going to Jantar Mantar. Rahul Gandhi said that Jantar Mantar is the property of the people and hoisting the national flag there is not a crime. He said that they will restore the dharna chowk at Jantar Mantar.

He warned Modi not to obstruct the youth. Former Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee advised CJP leaders not to be afraid of being put in jail by the police. She assured them that 'Didi (Mamata) will be with you now and always'. TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee criticized those who claim to be great patriots and are arresting those who hoisted the national flag today. Leaders of RJD, CPI, CPM, NCP (SP) and other parties condemned the arrest of CJP leaders. Meanwhile, leaders of SFI, DYFI and other organizations tried to reach Jantar Mantar on Wednesday.
