The proposed “Janagraha Sabha” for Narendra Modi has been officially dropped following objections from the PMO. Sources indicate that the Prime Minister’s Office did not approve the name, questioning the relevance of such a title when the visit is focused on development initiatives. Acting on directions from the central leadership, the state BJP has decided to remove the “Janagraha” tag and conduct the event simply as a public meeting of the Prime Minister.
The rally is scheduled to be held on the 10th of this month at Secunderabad Parade Grounds. During the visit, Prime Minister Modi is expected to lay foundation stones and inaugurate several key development projects. The state BJP leaders believe that conducting the event under a neutral and development-focused banner will better reflect the purpose of the Prime Minister’s visit and attract wider public participation.
