YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been spending most of his time in Bengaluru, at his palatial residence in Yelahanka, rather than in Andhra Pradesh. His visits to the state for public programs and party activities have been limited and brief. In the latest development, the CBI Court in Nampalli has granted Jagan permission to travel abroad. According to reports, he had applied to the court seeking approval for a foreign trip, which was cleared with certain conditions. The court stated that Jagan can visit Europe for up to 15 days during the period between October 1 and October 30. However, there is a clear condition — he must personally appear before the court in Hyderabad before November 14, after returning from his trip.
Sources suggest that Jagan is planning a family vacation in Europe in October. This would be his second Europe holiday in recent years, the last one being in July of the previous year.
Meanwhile, critics point out that Jagan is already facing backlash for skipping Assembly sessions. His decision to go ahead with this foreign trip, despite ongoing political and legal pressures, is drawing sharp reactions. Many argue that choosing leisure over legislative duties may further damage his public image.
