It is everyone’s responsibility to protect Telangana – KCR

Former Chief Minister of Telangana and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao has called upon the people to remain vigilant and protect the identity and progress of Telangana. He warned that the state’s achievements should not be put at risk again and emphasized that it is the collective responsibility of every citizen to safeguard Telangana from opposing forces. KCR reiterated that the BRS will always stand as a protective shield for the state and advised the current government to fulfill its promises with sincerity to maintain public trust.

On the occasion of Telangana Formation Day on June 2, KCR extended heartfelt greetings to the people of the state and Telangana citizens across the world. He paid rich tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the statehood movement. Recalling the long struggle against decades of oppression, he said Telangana was achieved through democratic means and peaceful parliamentary efforts despite numerous challenges. He highlighted the importance of remembering the sacrifices that led to the formation of the state.
