Tensions in West Asia have escalated once again, even as the conflict initially appeared to be easing. Iran and the United States have resumed hostilities, with reports of reciprocal strikes intensifying the situation. Adding to the volatility, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reportedly targeted vessels navigating the Strait of Hormuz, further aggravating global concerns over regional stability and maritime security.
In a significant development, Iranian local media has published a ‘revenge list’ naming 13 foreign leaders. The list reportedly includes former U.S. President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, along with several European leaders. This follows the February 28 strikes by the U.S. and Israel, in which Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed. Mojtaba Khamenei has vowed retaliation, warning that those responsible will face consequences, calling it a nationwide demand.
