PCC Working President Jagga Reddy stated that internal discussions and differences are natural within the Congress party, emphasizing that their leaders openly express opinions, unlike other parties where matters are discussed internally. Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan on Sunday, he said he had completed an inquiry into the Tungaturthi constituency issue over the past two days as a PCC observer. He added that he met local MLA Mandula Samuel, MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy, MLC Basavaraju Saraiah, DCC president, and party leaders from nine mandals to gather information and identify the root cause of the dispute.
Jagga Reddy also criticized BRS MLA Harish Rao, asking him to stop using “cinematic dialogues” and questioning the intent behind his remarks against CM Revanth Reddy. He defended the statements made by the Chief Minister and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy regarding the Kaleshwaram project, calling them factual. He urged KCR to attend the Assembly for a discussion on the issue and suggested BJP leader Eatala Rajender facilitate a meeting with Union irrigation authorities. He also alleged that the current government is burdened with paying interest on debts incurred by the previous regime.
