Munugode Congress MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy has clarified that he has no personal differences with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He said he had never abused or personally criticised the Chief Minister and that his differences were limited to one or two issues. Rajagopal Reddy said his primary objective was to bring the Congress back to power and stressed that his constituency had also received funds on par with the constituencies of Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy. He added that he would not compromise on the development of Munugode.
Rajagopal Reddy also said he had been invited to the Chief Minister’s public meeting in Nakrekal and would attend the event with thousands of supporters. Recalling the struggles undertaken by Congress workers during the BRS regime, he said justice should be ensured for party workers. He maintained that the final decision on a possible ministerial berth rested with the Congress high command and that he would abide by the party’s decision.
