Heated Discussions Expected in AP Assembly!

The Andhra Pradesh Assembly session is scheduled to begin on August 17. The House is expected to discuss the government’s two-year tenure, law and order, investments, employment generation and the job calendar. The government is also preparing to introduce several key bills, including legislation related to BC reservations and amendments to municipal laws.

The government is reportedly considering direct elections for mayors and municipal chairpersons, which could lead to amendments to the existing municipal legislation. A Business Advisory Committee meeting is expected to be held after the Assembly is adjourned on August 17. The duration of the Assembly session will be decided following discussions in the meeting.
