Senior BRS leader Harish Rao launched a sharp attack on the Congress government, alleging that it has failed to fulfil its promises to farmers. He claimed that the Rythu Bandhu assistance for the Yasangi season was not released in full and accused the government of misleading farmers with fresh assurances for the Kharif season. He also alleged that the government owes farmers ₹29,300 crore in pending dues.
Harish Rao said Telangana would prosper only under the leadership of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). He accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of damaging the interests of the Palamuru region and alleged that the promised crop bonus had become a "false promise." He also criticised the government's urea distribution system, questioning the need for an app if fertiliser is readily available, and expressed confidence that the BRS would return to power.
