Former minister and BRS deputy floor leader Harish Rao launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, questioning his statements and tone. He alleged that the CM’s remarks reflected falsehood, abusive language, and a disturbing mindset. Rao criticized the CM for his comments on farmers, calling them inappropriate and harsh. He also accused Revanth Reddy of making contradictory statements about Godavari water levels and lacking technical understanding on irrigation matters.
Harish Rao further demanded transparency from the government regarding irrigation decisions, including proposals to divert water to Ellampalli. He claimed that the BRS government had significantly developed irrigation infrastructure, including the completion of the Ellampalli project. He warned that failure to lift water could impact power generation and agriculture. Rao also criticized the government’s stance on Kaleshwaram project expenses and alleged that current decisions were politically motivated.
